Green alternative to domestic skip hire launches in Devon.

1st August 2012
Junk 4 Joy a mobile junk waste collection and recycling business has today launched its regional opration in Paignton where it will provide customers with a green, affordable alternative to domestic skip hire.

Founded by waste management entrepeneur James Norvill, Junk 4 Joy is one of the few waste recycling businesses in the UK primarily focused on providing a labour inclusivve recycling service. As part of the service, customers will receive the added value benefit of two qualified junk haulers to assist with the loading trasnportation and recycling of any unwanted junk items from their premises.

James Norvill, Managing Director of Junk 4 Joy said, 'Having sucessfully grown a skip hire buisness for the past ten years, i have found many of our customers are deterred from hiring a skip due to the costs and time constraints involved wuth acquiring a skip permit. Some customers, particularly those living in flats have insufficent space to place a skip outside of their premises which has caused significant problems when it comes to the safe disposal of bulk items like a sofa, cupboard or bed frame'.

'At Junk4Joy we have created a mobile junk disposal solution that does not require a skip permit and assists in the sage loading of all forms of domestic and commercial waste. As all waste is collected in one trip, we have a lower carbon footprint and provide better value for money in comparison to domestic skip hire services'.

Mr Norvill believes Junk4Joy has the potential to modernise the way in which household waste is recycled in the UK and is focused on providing sustainable long term employment oppurtunities for local people through the development of a waste transfer and recycling station in the region.

'Having sucessfully built up the bsiness in South Wales we see the South East of England as an ideal oppurtunity to expand our operation. Im confident that we can exceed a £150,000 turnover this financial year and employ a workforce of ten full time staff. Wehave aspirations to develop Junk4Joy into teh largest independt household junk waste collection service in the UK'.

The businesses core ethos os to provide an environmentally friendly service. Junk4Joy has developed a detailed training program to assure junk haulers begin the sorting and recycling process while on site. The business has a clear objective to recycle over 90% of al junk waste collected at local waste treatment and recycling facilities.

'At Junk4Joy we are offering a transparent professional approach to domestic junk waste recycling. We will communicate clearly with customers about where , when and how their waste will be recycled to ensure we setnew standards within the industry' Mr Norvill explained.
